Tom
trusted Christ as his Lord and Savior at
the age of 10. He was raised in a Christian
home and attended a Bible believing, mis-sions
centered church. Tom has been educated
in Bible and Home Business, as well as
in building homes and vocational skills.
His heart is to teach God’s Word,
and to teach men and boys to be men of
God. Ginger, Tom's wife, came to the saving
knowledge of Christ as her Lord and Savior
at the age of 19, having known Jesus as
her best friend since age 5. God has
blessed Tom and Ginger with nine children
since their marriage in 1974. They are
thankful that their family has grown in
the Lord’s grace by keeping the Bible
as the center of their lives. Tom
and his family have lived and worked in
Haiti between the years of 1985 and 1999.
After moving back to the States they continued to

teaching and church conference teams on
trips to Haiti. In March, 2006, Tom joined
the staff at Harvest headquarters in a
full-time capacity by becoming the Director
of Haiti Ministries. His responsibilites
include caring for the Haiti missionaries
as well as the national pastors with their
work in orphanages, school, and churches.
Tom also helps in organ-izing team trips
to Haiti, and is the contact person for
Haiti teams (see MISSION TRIPS). Additionally,
Tom wears two other hats within the Harvest
organization. As the Warehouse Supervisor
Tom man-ages the incoming and outgoing
supplies for the seven different countries
where Harvest has missionaries planted.
Plus, he serves as one of the board members
who together seek God's will in the direction
and needs of Harvest International. |
