Dear Harvest Family,
I have spoken to Sandy Woodall who has informed me that the staff arrived in Haiti yesterday afternoon.  All is well, only one checked bag did not make it.  They were leaving at 5am this morning driving to Gonaves.  Below is a picture of them all smiles and excited about leaving at 3:30am. (Danny)

Hi from Haiti,
Hey, can you believe your getting an email from me in Haiti.  I'm at Harvest's new missionaries home and they have internet access.  Haiti is great.  Such a different culture.  There is a lot of poverty, but the country itself is just beautiful.
I've been here five days so far and it has been an adventure.  We have seen so much.  We've gone to northern Haiti and visited orphanages there.  We had a stop over at the beach where we swam in the Caribbean ocean (very salty).  We  were in down town Port-au-Prince, very busy, tons to see.  We have gone up the mountain several times (what a ride).  The mountains are beautiful, I could look at them forever.  Now we are in southern Haiti.  You can definitely see a difference from central to southern.  Much greener.  Where we are it seems almost more relaxed living.  Like a community.
The new missionaries are great.  We saw some of their projects and it's been very exciting.
One thing I can say is that Haiti driving is CRAZY.  After the first day I finally let go of my death grip on the drivers seat.  Tom is a terrific driver.  I'm having such a great time. The plane rides have been pretty good too.  Haiti is not that far away.
Well, I really need to go, but I just wanted to say HI from Haiti.  I can't wait to get back home though.  Air conditioning is such a blessing.  I don't think I been this sticky ever.  (I do have nice COLD baths, but just has soon as your out your sticky again).  But it's been great.  I'm so happy I got this opportunity to go.  Thanks to everyone who supported me.  I'll send you pictures when I get back and settled a bit.  Love all of you.
